Import a plan you already have

Got the plan on paper or as a PDF? Photograph it or export an image, and turn it into walls.

   Prepare the image

   PNG, JPEG or WebP all work. The cleaner the drawing the better the result: a plan with clearly drawn walls beats a photograph taken at an angle.

   Import it

   In the editor, open "Import a plan" and choose the file. The image never leaves your computer — the reading happens in the browser, not on a server of ours.

   Tell it the scale

   Type the real width of what the plan shows, in metres. It is the one number we cannot get from the image, and it is the difference between a house and a doll house.

   Create the walls, then fix the rest

   The walls it finds become yours: move them, delete them, add more. The importer gives you the skeleton, not the finished job.
