Draw your first floor plan
From an empty screen to a house with walls, doors and windows. About ten minutes, nothing to install.
10 min readStart from a template, not a blank page
A template skips the tedious part: the walls are already square and the rooms already have names. You drag walls to your own measurements instead of drawing them from scratch. If you would rather start empty, the blank project is in the same place.
Drag the walls to your measurements
Select a wall and drag an end. Connected walls follow, so a corner stays a corner. Dimensions appear as you drag — no need to be pixel-perfect.
Cut in doors and windows
Pick the door or window tool and click the wall you want it in. It is hosted by that wall: move the wall later and the opening travels with it.
Check it in 3D
Switch to the 3D view whenever you like. It is where you find out a corridor is too narrow — something a plan will never tell you.
